Jellyfish Assembly

Today William had a chance to shine in his class assembly.  I arrived nice and early and managed to get a seat in the second row.

William with his classmates

The theme was The Hungry Caterpillar and William had to read out some lines from the story.  See for yourself how clearly William speaks..

After their performance I got a chance to sit with William and for him to show me all the excellent work he has been doing in Year R.  It is clear that William tries very hard at school and his handwriting is getting noticeably better.

Its lovely to be able to share these moments with you William and I look forward to seeing you develop as you progress through the school.

  1. Well done William! You spoke really clearly. What a great assembly – you all told the story of The Hungry Caterpillar really confidently, and showed off your lovely artwork. The first of many for Mum and Dad to enjoy!

  2. William – you did really well. We enjoyed watching Jellyfish assembly and hearing you read your part. The hungry caterpillar is one of our favourite stories.
With love from Grannie Annie and Grandad xx

  3. Grandma and Grandad thought everyone did very well in telling the story of the Hungry Caterpillar especially WILLIAM. Well done. You were loud and clear xx. We are so pleased that you are working hard, too.
