We’re winners!!!! Well strictly Grannie Annie was the winner of the first prize in the Millbrook Garden Centre raffle but, as the Indonesian hardwood bench she won was not needed in their amply ‘benched’ garden, we were glad to take up their kind offer to give it a home. Thank you!!! Before it is left out in […]
This afternoon we took advantage of the fine weather and took Grannie Annie and Grandad for their first visit to Longmoor. From the car park we crossed a stream before Megan and William lead us up a hill. At the top they discovered a memorial to a bomber pilot who crashed nearby in 1942. Meanwhile […]

Grannie Annie has been well utilised looking after both Megan and William as well as making endless cups of coffee for us and the builders, washing up and even fitting in some ironing to boot. The main thrust of the building work has been completing the structural opening between […]
It’s Grandma’s birthday but William has spots and we are convinced that he has chicken pox. His temperature has come down and he is happy enough in himself and thankfully he isn’t scratching. Thank you Grannie Annie for coming to look after him whilst he is off school this week.
Another major milestone today as the team installed another steel and knocked down the wall separating the kitchen from the extension.
